Johnstown Man Falls Off Roof

JOHNSTOWN, CAMBRIA COUNTY--- A Johnstown man fell off of a roof at a home in the 300 block of South Street Tuesday afternoon.

"It is under investigation," said Johnstown Fire Chief Tony Kovacic.

WTAJ News spoke to the sister of the man who fell and lives right around the coroner.

"I already lost one brother," said Michelle Reed.  "I am praying he is going to be OK... I don't want to loose another one."

Reed said her 49 -year old brother Michael Reed was working on the house when the accident happened.

"My son ran over and said he is still breathing," said Reed.

LeRoy Durant said he saw a big flash and ran over.

"He was bleeding at his finger tips and had blood on his head," said Durant.  "I just watched him tumble down."

Reed was taken to Memorial Medical is extent of injuries has not been released.  The city fire and police departments are investigating.  Penelec restored power to the homes that lost it as a result of the accident.
