PA University Strike Action

Thousands of state-owned university faculty members in Pennsylvania are voting on possible strike action.

Voting started yesterday for the more than 6,000 employees affected. Those ballots will be counted Friday 16^th to see if 14 different campus staff will strike over union disagreements. Among the issues are health care benefits and pay for temporary educators. Roughly 120,000 students could be impacted by a strike. Locally, it could affect Lock Haven University, IUP and clarion.
