Hunter Rescued Hanging From Tree

BRUSHVALLEY TOWNSHIP, INDIANA COUNTY -- State Police in Indiana County said 63-year-old James Yoder was rescued, hanging upside down from his tree stand.

The Johnstown man was hunting in a wooded area off of Old Mission Road in Brushvalley Township, Indiana County on Saturday.

Police said a resident called and said they could hear yelling from the woods.  PSP called Brushvalley Volunteer Fire Company and Citizens Ambulance and searched the area. 

They eventually found Yoder who fell and was stuck upside down.

He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
