Animal Welfare Group Helping Sandy Victims

STATE COLLEGE, CENTRE COUNTY -- The Dog Jog Foundation will hold a relief drive for Hurricane Sandy victims.  A drop off location will on Penn State's campus outside the Student Book Store on E. 330 College Avenue from noon to 6 PM on Thursday November 15th.

Canned or boxed food, pet food, water, cleaning products, hygiene products, bleach, and batteries  will be hand delivered to the non-profit "Project Rebuild" by members of the Dog Jog Foundation during the week of Thanksgiving.  They plan to drive to New Jersey in order to offer the donated materials personally.

According to a release, The Dog Jog Foundation wishes to improve the quality of life for every living being on the planet.  Hurricane Sandy affected humans and animals alike, and the members of The Dog Jog Foundation encourages everyone from the local community to donate to those who were impacted by the devastating storm.
