BENNER TOWNSHIP, CENTRE COUNTY - Two people are dead and a child is in stable condition following a two-car crash on Interstate 99 Thursday afternoon.

State police say David Williams lost control of his vehicle, crossing the median near the Shiloh Road exit in Benner Township. Williams reportedly hit a car driven by Sarah Johnson. Both died at the scene.

State police tell WTAJ a four-year-old girl was in Johnson's car and survived the crash. She's now at Geisinger Medical in Danville.

Police also say that autopsies for Williams and Johnson will be done Friday.
