There are plenty of reports out there. But no one is willing to go on the record about an investigation that has been going on, at least since March 2012.
It's been more than five weeks since Jerry Sandusky was convicted. CBS News is reporting that special investigators are analyzing a computer that was seized from Jerry Sandusky. They're also investigating if Sandusky sent "seductive letters" across state lines for sexual
purposes. The reports also say that their unknown source claims some of those letters were sent to some of Sandusky's sexual abuse victims.
As soon as this story broke, WTAJ hit the phones. We've been in contact with the following agencies: the US Postal Services Special Investigation Unit, US Attorney General, Centre County District Attorney, FBI offices in State College and Philadelphia, and Police in State College, none of these agencies or officials will comment on the report.
What we have confirmed is that there is an ongoing investigation, being handled by US Postal Inspectors out of Harrisburg, and the US Attorney's Office of the middle district of Pennsylvania. We know that they're analyzing Sandusky's computer, and looking into letters going across state lines.
As of now we have no confirmation of a possible pedophile sex ring involving jerry Sandusky, but keep tuning on on tv and checking back online, as we'll keep hammering the phones, and getting as much information as we can.
