MEYERSDALE, SOMERSET COUNTY--- Thunder in the Valley showcases some of the area's most unique motorcycles, but for one group it's a chance to hit the road and catch up with friends.

"We're friends in this Boss Hoss community," said Bill Taylor from Richmond, Virginia.
Taylor joined up with a number of other Hoss owners from up and down the East Coast.

'We all know each other because we own the bikes," said Taylor.

Hoss bikes are known for their designs and power.

'It's a Chevy engine on a bike," said Hoss owner Bill Link.  'They start at 350 and go to 660 cubic inch."

"Each bike is designed by the rider at a local dealer," said Taylor.

The bikes are known to be expensive but the friendships made Taylor and Link agree are worth every dollar.

"It's a second family," said Link.

"The friendships area amazing," said Taylor.
