HOLLIDAYSBURG, BLAIR COUNTY - A one vehicle crash sends a man to the hospital.

It happened around 6:30 Saturday night on Loop Road in Hollidaysburg. Police say the driver of a pickup truck went off the road for some reason, crashed into one of the support pillars for Route 36 and landed down an embankment.

The driver was the only one in the truck and no other vehicles were involved. He was taken to the Altoona Regional Trauma Center for his injuries.

PennDOT will come out and check the pillar for damage.
