Major Highway Detour

Updated: April 11, 2012
ALLEGHENY TOWNSHIP, BLAIR COUNTY - A detour will affect a couple of major highways in our area.

Starting Monday the Route 22 westbound exit off of northbound Interstate 99 will be closed. That's exit number 28 in Allegheny Township, Blair County. Crews will be doing bridge work on Route 22 where it crosses over I-99.

Drivers will have to have to drive past that exit to the Plank Road Exit, then double back south on 99 to get to the westbound 22 exit.

Signs explaining the detour are posted on the highway.
