Local University Hosts Stock Market Workshops

ALTOONA, BLAIR COUNTY - Penn State Altoona is offering a chance to learn stock market basics at workshops in April.

Participants will be able to manage an investment portfolio on a virtual trading platform. The workshops are true to life and allow participants to trade stocks, bonds, mutual funds, options, and futures as well as spot contracts for world currencies and commodities on more than twenty global exchanges.

Attendees can continue trading after the seminar has ended.

The last workshop is set for April 17 from 5:30 - 6:45 p.m. in the Sheetz Center for Entrepreneurial Excellence in downtown Altoona.
