State College - On 4/9/2012 at approx 4:20pm, an officer with the State College Police was running speed enforcement in the 1500 block of Brush Valley Road when a small to midsize dark gray car was observed traveling at a high rate of speed.  The officer attempted to stop the vehicle, however it accelerated and was able to evade the officer on Houser Road in Linden Hall.  The vehicle was last observed driving through a field and striking a stone wall and several trees. The vehicle continued onto Brush Valley Road toward Oak Hall.

Police are trying to identify the vehicle and driver.  The vehicle should have severe damage to the undercarriage and may have debris from striking several small trees.

Anyone with information regarding the vehicle and/or driver is asked to contact the State College Police Dept., 814/234-7150 or via anonymous tip line at www.statecollegepa.us
