WILLIAMSBURG, BLAIR COUNTY -     A Blair County suspect is being investigated after  allegedly chaining up two young children.
This is a disturbing case because of the ages and children involved and  how state police believe they were treated. Troopers from both Blair and Huntingdon counties are involved in the investigation that  follows reports  of mistreatment  that involved that two young children, ages four and six,   from Entriken, Huntingdon County.  Investigators  report the young children  were  endangered  during a week long stay  in Blair County that started on the Fourth of July.

This case is  attracting  attention because the investigating trooper's report says  " The suspect covered the victim's mouths with duct tape and chained the victims to their beds while they slept."
The police say abuse took place at a residence on Covedale Road.   The home is located a short distance outside of Williamsburg.  The   young children were in  the custody of the suspect at the time of the abuse according to the investigating Trooper.
Now members of the Pennsylvania State Police  are  trying to determine what criminal charges might be appropriate in this case.

State police say the suspect  is a female.    Possible criminal charges  include reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child.   Troopers say any case that involves putting children in  physical  danger is something to which they give a lot of attention.
