Man Robs Pharmacy, Holds Knife to Elderly Man's Throat

PENN TOWNSHIP, CENTRE COUNTY - Police said a Centre County man walked into a pharmacy, held a knife to the throat of an elderly customer and demanded pills.

According to State Police in Rockview, Colin Mcatee, 28, of Bellefonte, walked into the Penns Valley Pharmacy around 12:15 p.m. on Monday.  The store is located on Route 45 in Penn Township, Centre County.

Police said he grabbed an elderly customer, held a knife to the man's throat and demanded medication.

An employee handed over two types of drugs.

McAtee left in a red jeep and was arrested a short time later by State Troopers on Blue Ball Gap Road in Walker Township.

He was then put in the Centre County Prison.
