BUTLER, BUTLER COUNTY - A 43-year-old man is accused of dousing his girlfriend with lighter fluid and chasing her with a lighter in Butler.

Police said Adam Brown went to the victim's home on Tuesday night and got into an argument with her. When the dispute escalated, Brown allegedly squirted lighter fluid on the girlfriend, then followed her with a lighter.

Police said the man also grabbed bleach and threatened to soak her and her dog with it.

The victim was able to escape and call authorities, who arrested Brown on multiple charges.

OK, which was it? Lighter fluid or gasoline?

The listing says "Police say man doused woman with gasoline and chased her with a lighter."

But the actual story says "dousing his girlfriend with lighter fluid".

Please get your story straight, thanks.
