The report card released by the American Society of Civil Engineers it titled "The Keystone in Crisis."
Four years ago, the Organization gave Pennsylvania a "D" for the conditions of its highway network. In the new report, that grade has dropped to a "D" minus.
The people behind the report say an infrastructure crisis is developing that will affect everyone in this state for years to come.
The condition of Pennsylvania roads has been a growing concern.
The same report says the condition of the more than 22 thousand highway bridges in the state is also a cause for concern giving those structures an over all grade of "C".
A lack of adequate funding was seen as a key reason the State's transportation network appears to be getting worse.
