Sestak Says He Was Offered Job Not To Run

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Democratic Pennsylvania Congressman Joe Sestak says he was told he'd have a job in the Obama administration if he decided not to run against longtime Senator Arlen Specter.
Sestak spoke with CBS's "Face the Nation" and didn't say exactly what type of position he was offered. Sestak said his focus is going to Washington to serve.
Sestak said President Obama was the first one to call with congratulations following his victory over Specter in the state's Democratic primary. The White House backed Specter's run.
After more than 40-years as a Republican, Specter had switched to the Democratic Party a year ago, saying he was "at odds" with the GOP.
