A special group got a huge thank you on Saturday for Armed Forces Day.

Dozens turned out at the VA Medical Center in Altoona to honor the men and women serving in our military.  The Medical Center held its annual welcome home event this morning.  It featured music, informational displays and chance to look at the memorial wall honoring fallen soldiers.

Armed Forces Day has been celebrated for the past 60 years on the third Saturday in May.  Events were held all across the country in recognition of men and women serving in the military.
