JENNERSTOWN, SOMERSET COUNTY--- The Mountain Playhouse is competing in the Pepsi Refresh Grant Program.

They want to expose children from across Southwestern PA and Maryland to live, professional theater at an affordable price. If the Playhouse wins the money, they'll use it to put on 15 morning performances of Shakespeare's 12th Night. Student groups would also be invited to tour the backstage and meet with the actors and crew.

“The mountain playhouse doesn't always have the opportunity to put on a play like Shakespeare and we're very excited that Pepsi is giving us that opportunity,” said Marafino.

The Mountain Playhouse must rank in the top 10 in order to win. To help make the grant possible click on the link.
