STATE COLLEGE  - A police chase through the State College Borough ended when the suspect crashed into two parked cars on West College Ave.

The chase started on Wednesday night at about 11:40 p.m.

A State College Police Officer saw a maroon Ford sedan crash through a closed gate at the Fraser St. Parking Garage.  The officer tried to pull over that vehicle on the 100 block of West Calder Alley.

Police said the person refused to stop and instead drove east on Calder Alley in the wrong direction; that portion of Calder Alley is a one way street.  The suspect then turned onto Allen St.

When the person tried to turn onto West College Ave., he or she ran into two parked cars right at the intersection of Allen St. and W. College Ave.  After the crash the suspect ran away on foot.

No injuries were reported.

Police said the suspect has been identified and charges are pending.

Police did not indicate in the police report how they identified the suspect.
