JOHNSTOWN, CAMBRIA COUNTY--- Tuesday marked the annual Cambria County Career and Job Fair.  More than 50 employers attended and were looking to hire new employees.  The event was held at the Frank J. Pasquerilla Center in Johnstown.  Close to 600 people looking for a job dressed to impress at the fair.  Organizers said that despite recent lay offs in the area, there are companies hiring because the economy is showing signs of improving.

“We have companies from all over.  Last many were only looking for a few new employees, this year they’re looking to hire several and that’s a good thing,” said Debi Balog of JARI.
