CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA - State limits on electricity rates will expire at the end of 2010, but there's several resources to help you get ready for the big change in the electricity industry.

A new website called PApowerSwitch.com lays out the latest resources from the State Public Utility Commission.

The site has a lot of useful tools.  It can tell you, which electric company rate caps will expire and when.

You can also shop around and see which electric companies will give you the best rates.

In Central Pennsylvania, there are many places where electricity is offered from only one company.  If that's the case for you, there are still resources that give some advice on budgeting your electric bill, or the website can even help you find programs that will help reduce the cost of your bill.
