LOGAN TOWNSHIP, BLAIR COUNTY--- Dozens turned out for the third annual “Strike Back against Autism” event at Holiday Bowl Saturday afternoon.

All of the money raised will go to the NHS Autism School in Altoona.

The school helps more than 40 kids in the area who have autism.  It’s a private school that doesn’t receive a lot of funding, which is why the Burr Family decided to help.  Their nephew Riley attended the school for several years and they credit his improvement to NHS.  They started the bowling event more than three years ago raising more than $24,000.

“They had no computers or air condition prior to the funding.  All of this money raised really helped the kids at NHS,” said William Burr.
