PSU Student Accused of Brutally Beating, Raping Another Student

UNIVERSITY PARK - A Penn State student was arrested and put in jail, accused of brutally beating and raping another student.
Michael Glatz is in the Centre County Jail. Police said he beat and and raped a Penn State student on April 15.
It all started at about 3:00 p.m. last Thursday, in the McDonald's parking lot on N. Atherton St. in Ferguson Township.
According to the criminal complaint, Glatz was drunk and angry because he didn't do well on a test.
The victim claimed that Glatz started arguing with her in the car, broke the windshield and threatened to smash her head in the window.
The the victim said that the two of them went back to her apartment in State College.
She told police that that's where Glatz repeatedly hit her in the head and forced her to perform oral sex. She then said that Glatz raped her and threatened her if she went to the police.
Glatz appeared before a Centre County Judge on Wednesday morning.
