Specter Voices Concerns Over Supreme Court Nominee

By: Kevin Valentine
Updated: April 20, 2010

HARRISBURG - U.S. Senator Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania says warrantless wiretapping is unconstitutional and may affect his vote on a Supreme Court nominee.

Specter claims the Supreme Court is ducking the issue and will temper his support on whether the nominee agrees to consider such cases.

President Obama is expected to name a successor to Justice John Paul Sevens this summer.
