Huntingdon County 's Big Brothers/Big Sister's program is partnering with United Way of Huntingdon County to hold a two day, two course, two man golf tourney Friday, May 21 and Saturday, May 22, 2010.
The event will take place at two courses: Friday, 9 holes will be played at Huntindon Country Club and Saturday, 18 holes of golf will be held at Standing Stone Golf Course.
The money raised will be used to help mentor and match kids in Huntingdon County as well as help other United Way funded agencies.
As United Way's Executive Director Kathy Armillei explains, "This tourney is a little bit different as we are partnering with Big Brothers/ Big Sisters this year. They are one of our partner agencies and we both listened to some of our sponsers in that there are a lot of tournaments out there. We thought we would partner together and put our resources together."
