Teen Eludes Police After High-Speed Car Chase

SUMMERHILL TOWNSHIP, CAMBRIA COUNTY - Police in Cambria County said a teen got away after he stole a car, led them on a high-speed chase, and then ran off on foot.

Officers were searching for the 16-year-old boy around 8:00 p.m. Tuesday after they found the vehicle ditched in a Summerhill Township cornfield.

The Ford Mustang was reported missing from Bud's Auto near Beaverdale around 9:00 a.m.

Police said the suspect had a 17-year-old girl with him.

She was taken into custody.
