Johnstown, Cambria County--- Firefighters with the Johnstown Fire Department will be raising money during a “boot drive” for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

This drive will be taking place at the last Johnstown Chief’s Hockey game, all of the proceeds will benefit those who have the disease.

The fire department will have the Weller brothers from Latrobe as its honorary guest at the game.  Both boys only 11 and 14 have muscular dystrophy.

“When you actually see the people who are affected by the disease it really hit homes and makes you want to do a little bit more for the organization," said Captain Mick Miller, Johnstown Fire Department.

Donations can be made to:

International Association of Fire Fighters
P.O. Box 454
