MILLEDGEVILLE, GEORGIA --  Investigators in Georgia apparently can't access video of the night the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger allegedly sexually assaulted a 20-year-old college student.

The "Pittsburgh Tribune-Review" says the security DVD system at the Capital City nightclub recorded over the footage in question.  The paper says agents from the Georgia Bureau of Investigations weren't able to get any evidence from the recordings, and there were wasn't a camera focused on the restroom where the incident is said to have occurred.

Carl Cansino, the attorney for the nightclub, says a tape from Roethlisberger's entourage shows the NFL star and the accuser together, but said it was, quote, "hardly 'Girls Gone Wild.'"  Cansino also said he shared with officials copies of a driver's license obtained from the woman weeks before that had a false birth date.

Roethlisberger is accused of sexually assaulting the woman in the nightclub in Milledgeville, Georgia on March 5th.  The Steelers signal-caller was celebrating his 28th birthday with friends, including a pair of Pittsburgh-area law enforcement officials.

Milledgeville is about 90 miles away from Atlanta.  Roethlisberger owns a home in Greensboro, Georgia, which is approximately one hour from Milledgeville.
