BUSINESS NEWS  -  An Investment  Firm has been looking into the cost of staying healthy for newly retired Americans.
For most of us,  it will mean the need to save even more before we leave the work-force.
Fidelity investments has been looking into how much a newly retired couple can expect to spend on medical care  during their retirement years.   The firm came up with a figure of one quarter of a million dollars for a man and a woman both 65 years of age who would retire this year.
The figures are based on the co-pays and  fees that would be required for Medicare coverage with no other insurance involved.
Fidelity says the projected cost of medical care is up more than fifty percent from just seven years ago.
