Man Dies In Westmoreland County Motorcycle Accident

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, WESTMORELAND COUNTY - A 27-year-old Ebensburg man died in a motorcycle accident in Westmoreland County.

Authorities say Jeremy Kirkpatrick of Cambria County was riding his motorcycle in Westmoreland County on Route 286 when he did not stop when a vehicle ahead of him slowed down to turn left.

Officials say Kirkpatrick attempted to avoid the vehicle but was ejected from his motorcycle during the accident.

Police say he was taken to Forbes Regional Hospital, where he was declared dead.
