CHAVES COUNTY, NEW MEXICO --  Some teens in New Mexico picked the wrong place to smoke pot.

Officers say the three 18-year-olds and two 19-year-olds were on their way to spring break in Texas when they stopped in the Chaves County Sheriff Department's parking lot to stretch there legs and smoke marijuana.

Deputies released a statement saying the teens thought they were in a museum parking lot.   Officials charged the young adults with a misdemeanor drug violation after the bust last week, and allowed them to continue on their trip.
