DUBOIS---When you take a trip to the mall you’re probably looking for a gift, or maybe a new outfit, but how about a new car? That’s what shoppers at the DuBois mall can find there this week at the “Go in the Snow” auto show. Local dealerships; including Stoltz Family Dealerships, Red Bank Chevrolet, Johnson Motors, Murray Ford, and Rogos Auto Sales; have gathered some of their four-wheel and all-wheel drive vehicles together at the mall. Shoppers like Harry Howard like that they can find so many of these types of vehicles in one place. “You’ve got a variety of car dealerships that are represented, a lot of four-wheel drives to look at, especially with all the snowy weather we’ve been having out there,” Howard said, “It makes you just want to jump in one and take off and go play in the snow for a while.” However, Todd Stoltz, owner of Stoltz Toyota-Scion of DuBois, said four-wheel drive is great for the snow, but every driver should take extra precautions in winter weather no matter what they’re driving. “It doesn’t matter what you’re driving,” Stoltz said, “On ice, four-wheel drive isn’t going to be better than any other vehicle, so you do have to take a lot of precautions.” The “Go in the Snow” show will be on display at the DuBois mall through Sunday, which is open 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. through Saturday, and 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Sunday. If you’d like more information, contact the DuBois Mall at (814) 375-2602.
