Ninety percent of women in the United States have at least one risk factor for heart disease and it heart disease remains the number one killer of American women. This year 450,000 in the country will die from it.

Fortunately the American Heart Association says we can prevent 80% of heart problems by simple lifestyle changes. A major one is changing our diets.  That includes cutting down on salt, eliminating sweetened drinks, eating fish a couple times a week and making eating lots of fruits and vegetables.
