HARRISBURG - Governor Tom Corbett continues to speak out on his plan to get the state out of the booze business.

Friday he talked about consumer choice. His plan would phase in the wholesale and retail side of the wine and spirits business. It would also transition to grocery stores selling beer and wine.

He hopes to auction off licenses and divert the money to a block grant for the department of education. Since the money will be a one time sale, any programs schools create with the block grant money, they would have to fund them themselves in the future.
