STATE COLLEGE, CENTRE COUNTY - A man posing as an FBI agent is at the center of a scam targeting the elderly.

State College police say the man called an elderly woman and told her she won a $2 million prize.

He wanted her to meet him at the Rite Aid on Westerly Parkway with $2,500 in Walmart gift cards.

He told her that was a fee to collect the prize.

Police are warning people not to fall for scams like this and say the FBI does not call or email people to award prizes.
