Man Crushed to Death

PINE CREEK TWP, JEFFERSON COUNTY - Around 12:30 Tuesday morning State Police say Brian Gardner, 33, of Reynoldsville was involved in an industrial accident at Brookville Wood Products.

He was taken to Brookville Hospital where police say he died at 2:43 Tuesday morning. He died as a result of his injuries.

Friends of Gardner say he was crushed by machinery. Police are still investigating and have not released how the accident occurred.

Brookville Wood Products is unable to comment on the incident as it is still under investigation.
