JOHNSTOWN, CAMBRIA COUNTY--- The non -diocesan members of the Board of trustees of Bishop McCort Catholic High School hired an attorney.
School officials became aware of the misconduct allegations against Brother Stephen Baker late last week. 11 men settled in Ohio civil court after claiming they were abused by Baker. He worked at McCort during the 1990's- 2000's.
A letter was sent home to current parents and students advising them of the internal investigation.
In about a week, 20 alleged victims have come forward stating they were sexually abused by Baker. He was an instructor and worked in the athletic department.
"Its extremely difficult for some of the victims to come forward-they're embarrassed they're questioning why they didn't do something and why other people didn't do something," said Attorney Michael Parrish Jr., who representing many of the men claiming to be assaulted.
Baker has not been charged criminally, the investigation is on going.

50 and counting. This serial child predator ruined so many innocent kids lives.. Our hearts are with all of them, and they are not alone.
These brave victims are to be commended for having the courage to speak up and take action to expose the truth. This is not an easy thing to do, so hopefully anyone who has knowledge or may have been harmed by Brother Stephen Baker or anyone within this diocese; or anywhere he had access to children, will have the courage to come forward and contact the "police", not the church officials. They are not the proper officials to be investigating child sex crimes..
Also keep in mind your silence only hurts, and by speaking up there is a chance for healing, exposing the truth, and therefore protecting others.
