WINBURNE, CLEARFIELD COUNTY - With a population of just 1,500 people it is shocking to say in the last 5 years Winburne residents have raised $72,000 for Make A Wish.

They have granted over 15 wishes and now, created a cookbook to continue granting wishes.

The cookbook created by patrons, employees and the owner of Jackson's has a cover designed by a Make A Wish Child.

Victoria says she was happy when her picture of the Disney Cruise she went on was selected. She had a good trip free of doctors and worry.

For Make a Wish employee Patti Lellock this is what making wishes come true is all about.
Patti can no longer work for Make a Wish due to fighting her own life threatening disease.

"It is traumatizing to myself, to the sick person, to the family" she said.

She has a new understanding of what these wishes mean to kids.

"They don't have to focus on just being sick or I have to go to the doctor today or whatever they get to focus on going to Disney World in a month," she explains.
