FRANKSTOWN TOWNSHIP, BLAIR COUNTY - State Police say a methadone patient passed out behind the wheel after a treatment and crashed his car, and that led to another car hitting a fire fighter.

It happened around 10:00 Saturday morning on Scotch Valley Road in Frankstown Township, Blair County.

State Police say Benjamin Forr got a methadone treatment Saturday morning and passed out behind the wheel. He went off the road and hit a tree and a garage.

Geeseytown Fire Company responded along with Duncansville and Hollidaysburg emergency services responded.

Another woman veered off the road to avoid the crash. And while fireman Paul Grove was checking on her a third vehicle veered off the road and hit him. His injuries did not appear to be life threatening.
