Summerhill Baseball Bat Assault

SUMMERHILL TOWNSHIP, CAMBRIA COUNTY A Sumemrhill Township Man died Wednesday after being assaulted with a baseball bat.

Gregory Conzo was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and attempted homicide.  Summerhill Township Police stated in a criminal complaint that the 50-year hit the victim in the head.  Officers performed CPR until medics arrived, Michael Pcola, the victim was taken to Conemaugh were he died in ICU.

The assault happened at a home in the 100 block of Sierra Street.

Conzo is in the Cambria County Jail.  The Cambria County Coroner's office and police are investigating the incident.  An autopsy is set for Friday.
