Rep. Scott Conklin (D) beats Ron Reese (R) 19,974-10,517 (66%-34%) to retain his 77th District seat in the PA House of Representatives.

The 77th district pit incumbent Scott Conklin against Ron Reese. The Democrat Conklin wins a fourth term in the house getting less than 20,000 votes to get a 66% majority.

Conklin watched the results come in with friends and family in his hometown of Philipsburg. He says after being reelected he's got a lot of issues to tackle. He claims they all impact the quality of life of the people he represents in central PA.

"...I think it's important that we look at our education, that we look at the funding that's there to keep our property taxes lower but even as important as that, we have a huge need for infrastructure in this area. Our roads and bridges need some work so I believe that we need to go back to Harrisburg and make sure that that the education funding's in place to make sure that the road and bridge projects are done...."

Conklin's served as Centre County Commissioner and has been in the state house since 2006.
