Public Helps Nabbed Robbery Suspect

CRESSON TOWNSHIP, CAMBRIA COUNTY, - At approximately 3:15 p.m. on November 2nd, Cresson Township Police was called for a robbery at the Grand China Restaurant. The actor JOHN Martin Harman IV went into the restaurant and took an undisclosed amount of money.
Harman fled the restaurant on foot. A couple who witnessed what was going on and heard the owner of the business yelling that it was robbed. The couple gave chase and detained Harman about 500 yards away from the scene. Harman was taken into custody.
Harman was charged with robbery, theft, receiving stolen property along with drug related items.
Harman was arraigned and committed to the Cambria County Jail on a 40 thousand dollars bond.
