Travel Advisory - Oct. 31, 2012 - Update @ 4:15 p.m.

Flooding, Downed Trees, Downed Utility Poles Keep Area Roads Closed

Hollidaysburg - Two roads remain closed due to a downed tree. All other roads have opened.

Bedford County

Now Open:

Route 4027 (Shellsburg Road/Scrubgrass Road) is closed due to a downed utility from the intersection of Scrubgrass Road to the intersection of Beaver Dam Road in Kimmel Township.

Route 4013 (Crissman Road) is closed due to flooding from the intersection of Cortland Road to the intersection of Crissman Road/Dunning Creek Drive in West St Clair Township.

Route 2019 (Lutzville Road) is closed due to flooding from the intersection of Ashcom Road  in Snake Spring Township to the Route 30 East exit in Everett.

Somerset County

Route 2015 (Glencoe Road) is closed due to a downed tree from the intersection of Philson Road to the intersection of Emerick Road in Northampton Township.

Route 3043 is closed due to a downed tree from the intersection of the Maryland State Line to the intersection of Route 3002 in Addison Township.

Motorists are advised to find an alternate route and reminded to never drive through flooded roadways and never try to move a downed utility pole or fallen tree. If a driver encounters a downed utility pole or tree, please call 911.
