Curing Egg Allergy?

A new study may open up the menu options for people with egg allergies. In an "oral immunotherapy" study, doctors gave children with egg allergies tiny amounts of the food every day over a two year period.

At the end, 75% of the children were able to tolerate a lot more egg than when they started.  Twenty-eight  percent  were able to get rid of their egg allergy completely. Fifteen of participants had to stop because of significant reactions.

Study Author Dr. Scott Sicherer,of Mt. Sinai Medical Center warns parents not to try this without medical supervision
