30% of Teens Sexting

More and more texting teens are becoming sexting teens. A new study finds sexting has become more common among teenagers and sexters are more likely to be sexually active.
Researchers at the University of Texas studied the sexting habits of nearly 950 teenagers. They found nearly 30% sent a nude picture of themselves through electronic means. About half were asked to send a nude picture and about a third asked a nude picture to be sent to them.
The study showed nearly all the girls and half the boys who sent photos did it even though the request bothered them.
