Coffee May Lower Skin Cancer Risk

Scientists reached that conclusion after looking at long-term studies of more than 100,000 people. They also found that caffeine from other sources, like tea, soda and chocolate, may decrease basal cell cancer risk.
The amount of caffeine consumed did not affect the risk of the most deadly form of skin cancer----melanoma. Doctors say the best way to protect against skin cancer is to avoid midday sun, wear protective clothes and apply sunscreen often.
