UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. -- After over a week-long wait, the Lady Lions finally learned their NCAA Tournament seed and opponent during Monday night's NCAA Selection Show.

The players, coaches and a large group of invited guests gathered at the Bryce Jordan Center to watch the selection show. That is when they learned Penn State earned a No. 4 seed and will play No. 13 seed UTEP in Baton Rouge at 5:15 p.m. on Sunday.

"We're really excited and ready to go. I'm ready to hear the game plan. I'm sure our coaches are...they're thinking a mile a minute right now probably, so I know we're going to be well-prepared and we're just ready to go win," said guard Alex Bentley.

"It's exciting just to see where you're going to go. You don't know when your name is going to be called, so I'm just happy. I'm just ready to get down there and get to work," added guard Maggie Lucas.

"A four seed is great. Last year we were a six seed which wasn't bad for our first time, but this one feels so much better. I can't describe how excited I am," forward Mia Nickson said.

This is Penn State's 23rd NCAA Tournament appearance and second in a row.
