PHILIPSBURG, CENTRE COUNTY - A 50-year-old man was arrested Sunday afternoon following an incident of road rage that started in Clearfield County.

Pennsylvania State Police arrested Richard Litzinger of Brisbin for stalking, simple assault, and reckless endangering after he allegedly was weaving through traffic throughout Philipsburg borough and forced a jeep to stop on the 500 block of S. Centre Street.

Litzinger allegedly exited his vehicle, hit the hood of the jeep and attempted to open the passenger door. The driver of the jeep accelerated, but Litzinger allegedly held on to the door handle before falling to the ground.

Police say Litzinger got back in his car and began chasing the jeep again on SR 350. The driver of the jeep drove to the State Police barracks in Philipsburg where Litzinger was arrested.
