Duane Eichenlaub Trial Preview

ALTOONA, BLAIR COUNTY - The trial of a former police officer accused of beating up two men in a bar bathroom is scheduled to begin on Tuesday. 

A grand jury ruled that the former Altoona police officer Duane Eichenlaub got in a fight with a Herman Lardieri because Lardieri allegedly grabbed his wife. 

The incident happened more than two and a half years ago. 

Last month another former police officer involved in the fight Eric Kirner pled guilty to simple assault.
