STATE COLLEGE, CENTRE COUNTY - A local military unit got a new commander.

Colonel Douglas Williams took over for outgoing commander Colonel Keith Locklear Saturday. He's now in charge of the 112th Air Operations Squadron of the Pennsylvania Air National Guard.
The unit also added an 85 hundred square foot expansion to their facility in State College.

A spokesperson says it will help them do more work in state college instead of having to travel.
